Oregon City is the seat of Clackamas County, and many of the translations we prepare for Oregon City clients are headed to the Clackamas County Circuit Court or the county clerk: foreign divorce decrees, custody orders, marriage certificates and evidence in another language. We do not have an office in Oregon City. Work is handled by email, with pickup in Lake Oswego or delivery by mail.
Lake Oswego office: 5 Centerpointe Dr, Suite 400, Lake Oswego, OR 97035. Open Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome, an appointment is preferred, parking is free and you check in at reception.
Oregon City orders are mostly court and family documents, plus birth certificates and driver licenses for newcomers to Clackamas County.
We also translate medical records, tax returns, adoption files, criminal record certificates, powers of attorney and business documents.
A certified translation includes a signed statement from the translator that the translation is complete and accurate. This is what USCIS, the Oregon DMV, most courts and most universities require, and it is included in our price.
A notarized translation adds a notary stamp to that statement. The notary verifies the identity of the person signing the certificate and does not check the translation itself. Some consulates, foreign courts and schools ask for it. We add notarization for $10. Read more in what is a notarized translation. If the document is going abroad and also needs an apostille, see whether to translate before or after the apostille.
Our ATA-certified translators cover most languages. The ones Oregon City clients request most are Spanish, French, Russian, Urdu, German, Japanese and Chinese. We translate into English for use in the United States and from English for use abroad.
A certified translation is $65 per page. Larger documents are priced at $0.10 per word instead. The signed certificate of accuracy is included in the price, and notarization of the certificate is $10 extra if the receiving office asks for it.
Most documents are ready in 1 to 2 business days, and short documents are sometimes finished the same day. Tell us your deadline when you send the document and we will confirm the timing before you pay.
