PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, at 400 NE Mother Joseph Pl, is the hospital we are asked about most. Bedside requests there are usually powers of attorney and health care directives, signed by a patient who is alert and can speak with the notary directly. Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, at 2211 NE 139th St in the north of the county, is the other hospital we travel to.
Downtown, the Clark County Superior Court sits at 1200 Franklin St and the District Court at 210 E 13th St. People often need an affidavit or declaration notarized before they file, and we can meet you nearby. Which form a court wants is a question for the clerk or your attorney.
We also come to homes, offices and care communities throughout the city.
Inside the city, Vancouver recognises neighborhood associations including Arnada, Hough, Esther Short, Carter Park, Hudson’s Bay, Fruit Valley, Fourth Plain Village, Bagley Downs, Harney Heights, Burnt Bridge Creek, Ellsworth Springs, Cascade Highlands, Fisher’s Creek and Fisher’s Landing East.
Outside the city limits we travel to the unincorporated communities of Hazel Dell, Salmon Creek and Orchards, and east to the city of Camas.
ZIP codes we have confirmed against facility addresses: 98660 (downtown), 98664 (PeaceHealth Southwest), 98684 (our office) and 98686 (Salmon Creek).
What matters is where you are standing when you sign. If the notary meets you in Vancouver, the act is performed under Washington law and the Washington fee applies, even if the deed or form was drafted in Portland. Each state accepts documents properly notarized in the other.
Every Pac Signing notary holds both an Oregon and a Washington commission, so the same person can meet you on either bank of the Columbia.
Washington accepts identification that is current or expired no more than 3 years, or a credible witness who can vouch for you.
Can you notarize for someone held at the Clark County Jail?
The Clark County Jail is at 707 W 13th St, downtown. The jail sets its own rules for visitors, so call the jail about its rules before you book a visit with us.
Is it cheaper to come to the Park Plaza office?
Yes. An office visit has no travel fee. The office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm, closed Sunday. Mobile notaries are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
I live in Camas. Is that still the Vancouver travel fee?
The travel fee starts at $70 and goes up with distance. We quote the exact amount for your Camas address before anyone gets in the car.
