Forest Grove is home to Pacific University, and each year we translate transcripts, diplomas and financial documents for international students and applicants. The city and neighboring Cornelius also have a long established Spanish speaking community. Our nearest office is Hillsboro, east on Highway 8 and Highway 26, but most Forest Grove clients complete everything by email.
Hillsboro office: 9620 NE Tanasbourne Dr, Suite 38, Hillsboro, OR 97124. Open Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome, an appointment is preferred, parking is free and you check in at reception.
Forest Grove orders are led by academic records for university admission and Spanish civil documents for immigration.
We also translate medical records, tax returns, adoption files, criminal record certificates, powers of attorney and business documents.
A certified translation includes a signed statement from the translator that the translation is complete and accurate. This is what USCIS, the Oregon DMV, most courts and most universities require, and it is included in our price.
A notarized translation adds a notary stamp to that statement. The notary verifies the identity of the person signing the certificate and does not check the translation itself. Some consulates, foreign courts and schools ask for it. We add notarization for $10. Read more in what is a notarized translation. If the document is going abroad and also needs an apostille, see whether to translate before or after the apostille.
Our ATA-certified translators cover most languages. The ones Forest Grove clients request most are Spanish, French, Russian, Urdu, German, Japanese and Chinese. We translate into English for use in the United States and from English for use abroad.
A certified translation is $65 per page. Larger documents are priced at $0.10 per word instead. The signed certificate of accuracy is included in the price, and notarization of the certificate is $10 extra if the receiving office asks for it.
Most documents are ready in 1 to 2 business days, and short documents are sometimes finished the same day. Tell us your deadline when you send the document and we will confirm the timing before you pay.
