Maywood Park is its own city, with a mayor and council, even though Portland surrounds it completely. It is in Multnomah County, had 829 residents at the 2020 census, and is the closest Oregon city to our Vancouver office at 201 NE Park Plaza, Suite 221, Vancouver, WA 98684: about 8 miles, roughly 15 minutes without traffic.
Homes. Maywood Park is about 300 houses on roughly sixteen residential blocks, and it has no hospital, courthouse, police station or shopping street. The city’s office address is 10100 NE Prescott, Suite 147.
So a visit here is a front-room or dining-table signing: a refinance package, a deed, a power of attorney, a travel consent letter, a form for a pension or an overseas bank. We bring the journal and stamp; you provide ID and the unsigned document.
The city is a single neighborhood. It is bounded by NE Prescott Street on the north, NE 102nd Avenue on the east and Interstate 205 on the south and west, in the shadow of Rocky Butte. The ZIP code is 97220, shared with the adjoining part of northeast Portland, and we cover both sides of the city line.
Oregon caps the notarial fee at $10 per notarized signature (ORS 194.400). Our travel fee starts at $70 for the first 10 miles, plus $2 per mile after that, and is agreed with you before the notary travels. Example: one signature at an Oregon address near an office is $80.
Because Maywood Park is a short hop down I-205 from the office, it fits that example more closely than most Oregon cities we serve from Vancouver. We still confirm the number with you first.
Why is a Washington office listed for an Oregon city?
Distance. Vancouver is closer to Maywood Park than our Oregon offices are. The notary is commissioned in both states and performs your signing as an Oregon notary.
Is there a notary at Maywood Park city hall?
We do not know of one, and the city has no walk-in city hall building. A mobile visit or a trip to one of our offices are the two ways we can help.
How soon can someone come?
Often the same day. Mobile notaries take calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
