Nurses, financial professionals and others who are licensed in another state are often asked to mail in a completed fingerprint card. Bring the instructions the board or employer gave you. They specify the card type and any codes that must be written on it, and a card filled in wrongly is returned.
If the board says to send them a fingerprint card, you need fingerprinting only, which is $35. If you need the FBI report itself, for example for a visa or your own records, that is the $135 FBI background check.
