Pac Signing Notary completes Section 2 of Form I-9 for employers with new hires in Lafayette. A notary examines the employee’s original documents as your authorized representative. $50 per I-9.
We serve Lafayette and the rest of Yamhill County from four offices: Hillsboro (9620 NE Tanasbourne Dr, Suite 38), Beaverton (1500 NW Bethany Blvd, Suite 200), Lake Oswego (5 Centerpointe Dr, Suite 400) and Vancouver, WA (201 NE Park Plaza, Suite 221). If the employee cannot come in, a mobile notary can go to them.
Lafayette is the oldest city in Yamhill County and was a small agricultural and residential town for much of the twentieth century. Tourism and health care now anchor its economy, and its growth has been tied to the Willamette Valley wine industry, with many wineries in the surrounding county.
Every U.S. employer must complete Form I-9 for each person it hires. The employee fills in Section 1 by the first day of work. The employer, or an authorized representative, examines the employee’s original documents and completes Section 2 within three business days of that first day.
In an office. Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm. Booking ahead means a notary is ready when the employee arrives.
Mobile visit. A notary travels to the employee’s home in Lafayette or to your workplace. Mobile notaries work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Remote, by live video. Federal rules allow this only for employers enrolled in E-Verify and in good standing. The employee sends copies of the documents and then shows the same documents on a live video call. Other employers must have the documents examined in person.
$50 per Form I-9 at any office or by live video. A mobile visit adds a travel fee, agreed with you before the notary travels.
Original, unexpired documents of the employee’s own choice: one from List A, or one from List B together with one from List C. The full lists are on the USCIS acceptable documents page. We cannot tell an employee which documents to present. The employer sends us the form, or a link to its electronic I-9 system, before the appointment.
We do not give legal advice or decide whether someone is authorized to work; the employer remains responsible for the form. Form I-9 is not notarized, so no notary seal goes on it.
